There are strong reactions when we look out to the world and smile. One smile can create a chain reaction of smiles from other people. When you look at strangers do you smile? Not only can the reflection of a smile warm our hearts, our own smile can lighten us up from within, allowing us to glow outward. Get some exercise for your cheeks today. Smile whenever you can.
I agree with smiling being infectious...it's hard to frown when everyone else is smiling
ReplyDeleteExactly. What power we wield within a simple smile. We could light up a room or spark a smile in someone who really needs it.

ReplyDeleteWe are met by the traits we show.
Where love finds a friend
Hate finds a foe.
We draw people to us when we smile. I believe others can sense if ours is genuine or forced. I am convinced we reflect our character, or lack of it, with every breath we take, with how we hold our shoulders, by how even sit, how we look others in the eye and with every smile we make.
Abraham Lincoln said, "Every man over forty is responsible for his face." After this age, he held, our face reveals our inner selves. This includes the abundance or lack of smiles upon our countenance.
Revealing our character through our body language, I never thought of that. I am a sloucher, I should really work on sending those strong confidence vibes forward through a straight back and of course, a big smile. Thank you for your abundant inisght Pablo.
DeleteMy favorite moments are when smiling randomly at something I've just remembered and catching someone's eye at the same time... always gets you smile back! :)x
