Walk the line

There is a fine balance between stress and idleness. We need to constantly monitor ourselves to ensure we can correct our energy from moving too far in one direction. If we've spent the day running errands and flying from one appointment to the next, maybe we could grab a book and wind down.  If a whole day is spent in front of the television, perhaps we could take ourself for a brisk walk. If our week ahead looks stressful, we could perhaps books a massage to unravel our clenched energy. How do you create balance in your life?

  1. I try to practice self-awareness. I find that by being self-aware that I can guard against going too far one way or another.

  2. Balance is everything. You hit the nail on the head, Vanessa. Love this. Some days I feel like I'm totally in balance, others, not so much. But every day is another day to get it right ;-)

  3. We try our best, and that's really all we can do. SOmetimes it's best to step outside ourselves and look in.
