Regarding this quote: there's two ways I look at it. 1. If I consider what society tells me is the good life, I'll smile because I know I'm not in agreement with its values. Usually, wealth, material possessions or status are used to define it. 2. If I consider my perception of the good life, I smile because I'm a fortunate man, wealthy, beyond all measure.
